Part of one policy
This page is the ClickPad schedule to the Innov8iveLabs Privacy Policy, which covers every product and sets out your rights and how to exercise them. This page adds what is specific to ClickPad.
lodestar and ClickPad are published by Innov8ive Labs, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company trading as Innov8iveLabs, registered agent United States Corporation Agents, Inc., 1991 Crocker Road #600-755, Westlake, OH 44145, USA.
The short version
ClickPad does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of ours for your data to sit on. Everything the app knows stays on your iPhone.
What stays on your device
To control your equipment, ClickPad stores a few things locally, in the app's private storage on your iPhone:
- The names and network addresses of the Apple TVs and televisions you pair with.
- The pairing credentials those devices issue during setup, so the app can reconnect without asking you to pair again.
- Your preferences, such as which television a given Apple TV controls.
This information never leaves your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Network activity
ClickPad communicates only with the devices you pair with, directly over your own local network. It does not send your activity anywhere else, and there is no ClickPad server to send it to.
iOS will ask your permission before the app can reach devices on your local network. That permission is used solely to find and control your equipment.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us only anonymous, aggregated sales reporting. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you contact us
The app can prepare a support request or a diagnostics report for you. Both are shown to you in full before anything is sent, and nothing is sent unless you choose to send it. A diagnostics report contains your app version, iOS version, device model, which kinds of devices you have paired, and recent error messages. It never contains pairing keys, passwords, or the contents of anything you watch.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to help you.
Children
ClickPad is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on request. Data held on your device is under your control and is removed when you delete the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and the current version always lives at this address.
